1、 Service life

The service life of the filter element is generally different according to the different raw materials used. With the extension of our service time, impurities in the water will block the filter element, and the activated carbon filter element will be saturated. Therefore, generally speaking, the PP filter element needs to be replaced within 3 months, while the  activated carbon filter element needs to be replaced within 6 months. As hollow fiber cannot be cleaned, it is generally placed at the back end of PP cotton and activated carbon for use, otherwise it is easy to block, and it needs to be replaced for 1-2 years when it is used as the end sterilization of water purification equipment. The ceramic filter element can be used for 10-12 months generally, and a good ceramic filter element can be used for 3-5 years, or even more.

2、 Application field

1) Food and beverage industry: filtration of alcohol, mineral water and drinking water.

2) Pharmaceutical industry: prefiltration of various antibiotics and other pharmaceutical solutions.

3) Chemical industry: filtration of various organic solvents, acids and lyes.

4) Petroleum industry: oilfield water injection filtration.

5) Electronic industry: pre filtration of high purity water.

6) Metallurgical industry: It is used for filtering the hydraulic system of steel rolling mill and continuous casting machine and filtering various lubricating equipment.

7) Textile industry: purification and uniform filtration of polyester melt during wire drawing, protective filtration of air compressor, oil and water removal of compressed gas.

3、 Replacement method

1) Open the gooseneck tap to drain the residual water in the pipeline.

2) Take out the old filter element and install a new filter element with the same specification.

3) Coat the black "O" ring above the filter housing with a lubricant such as Vaseline, and then put the "O" ring into the groove in the filter housing.

4) Close the electroplated ball valve and the pressure barrel ball valve.

5) Screw the filter housing vertically to avoid displacement of the "O" ring.

6) After the water no longer flows out, open the filter housing containing the filter element with the filter housing wrench.

7) Open the electroplated ball valve and the pressure barrel ball valve.
